Great little cafe in the village of Woodhall Spa. Inside is decorated lovely and there is an outdoor terrace also. It was peak lunch time when we arrived so although there wasn’t a table we were greeted and asked if we would wait. We were shown some high back chairs to wait on until a table was ready. Wonderful, fresh food, great quality and lots of choice. I very much recommend the ploughman’s and the quiche or the day.
Popped in for lunch and the cafe was very busy, we managed to get the last available seats. It was a hot day, so the outside area was also busy.
The cafe is nicely decorated, with a friendly atmosphere, and welcoming staff.
We had their club sandwiches, which were delicious and well presented.
In addition to the main menu, there is a blackboard on the wall inside with daily specials.
Also worth popping in for the excellent selection of ice cream.
Enjoyed our first visit here and will definitely call back again.
Been here a few times when in the area and never had a bad meal.
Friendly and attentive service. Plenty of seating outside for warmer weather. Pet friendly.
Limited menu but good variation of light lunch options. Would recommend the Club Sandwich. Didn't try the ice cream on this occasion but have done in the past and can thoroughly recommend it

Had my first experience at Woodlands cafe this morning after spending a night in Woodland Spa and oh my goodness, I knew I was in for a treat when there was a queue before opening time and I was not disappointed! What a local treasure this cafe is, I’m envious of the locals that have this on their doorstep. Everything from the quaint decor, to the amazing customer service and not to mention the fantastic options the menu has to offer.
I went for the Woodland Breakfast and I could not fault it any way whatsoever. The coffee served was exquisite so much so I couldn’t help take away a bag of coffee beans that is available to buy in the cafe.
The cafe offers an array of fresh cakes and plenty other options to enjoy after your breakfast or lunch or simply just pop in for a wee afternoon tea / coffee and sweet treat!
With indoor or outdoor seating to choose from you’ll never be disappointed and it’s an absolute must to visit if you’re in the area or just passing through and also being dog friendly is a huge bonus!

Came to this cafe as part of a little jaunt out to Woodhall Spa. It is a lovely cafe. The staff are all lovely people that take the time and effort to give you a good service. Pay and order at the till service here. My southern fried chicken wrap was absolutely beautiful. My friend had a roast pepper and tomato soup as well. Really reasonable prices and I will definitely be coming back again. Highly recommend.
We have visited twice on holiday this week and have really enjoyed both the food and the service. We popped in for breakfast during our first visit which was wonderful and enjoyed by all.
On our second visit we had lunch and tried the ploughman’s which was delicious.
Staff work really hard and are really accommodating to any requests. Can’t fault their service. Thank you all!
Just had a wonderful full English breakfast. Lucky for us the weather was beautiful and we were able to get seated outside in the sunshine. Lovely seating area outside and dog friendly too. Our breakfast was lovely, nice thick bacon cooked well, Lincolnshire sausage, egg, hash brown, grilled tomato, mushrooms, baked beans and choice of white or brown toast. My boyfriend asked for black pudding which they had so we were able to add this to the breakfast too. Everything tasted lovely and not greasy at all, which I loved. Would definitely recommend and will be visiting again.
The inside of the cafe is very cosy and has a nice relaxed vibe. The food is amazing and there is a great selection of food on the menu. The outdoor seating is perfect for a summer ice cream and a drink.
I always have to grab a bite to eat when I’m in the area and to see if they have the best ice cream flavour I’ve tasted: Sea Buckthorn!!
We have come a few times when visited Tattershall Lakes and each time it gets better and better. On this occasion we came as 4 friends and 4 children and it was lovely to sit outside on the little children’s bench. The food was amazing so much so we came back for seconds! Thank you for the wonderful service and we can’t wait to be back in a few weeks
Regular visitor for me and my partner. Its a lovely place in a beautiful village. Great service as always, with coffees, mochas etc top notch. Food is great too and I had one of the best bacon sarnies I can remember. Nearly went back for another one! Be prepared for a short wait sometimes, as because it's so popular it can get very busy. The staff are great.....but only human after all. Looking forward to our next visit.
