Whenever we drive down from NJ to NC, Woodstock is our midpoint lunch stop. After dining twice at the Cracker Barrel, we decided to give Paisano’s a try. Even tho they are an Italian restaurant, we came for the seafood and Paisano’s did not disappoint. Wonderful flavors in their crab cakes, the steamed mussels, and the seafood platter. The clam chowder is thick and hearty. The pizza is a traditional wood-fired oven pizza that was hot topped with gooey mozzarella. The wine was surprisingly delicious too. And the service? Nothing to complain about there. Our meals came timely even though only one server covered the entire restaurant during the lunch hour. Don’t let the humble location fool you into thinking it’s a run-of the-mill pizza joint in a strip mall with a so-so pit stop menu. Even the ambience inside will transport you to a small Italian town where you dine with Al Martini crooning O Sole Mio in the background. There’s a reason the place gets packed in the evenings.

Oh my goodness, talk about delicious. I ordered chicken marsala - so, so good. First visit to Paisano's but it will not be my last. Flavorful, tender chicken...yum!

After trying most of the menu, I can honestly say this is one of the best Italian restaurants I’ve been to. High quality ingredients. Well prepared. Great presentation. Fast, friendly service. And the price is great too. Nothing bad to say. Keep up the great work guys!

Small Italian style restaurant with a variety of meals probably typical of Italy's provinces. Lots of cheese, lots of salad, accommodating wait staff, congenial chefs, and an ambience that takes one away from their local environs. Did I say Good Eats?

Great staff especially during this time and they were short a waitress that didn’t show up. The food was great, especially the pizza dough and wedding soup.

Service was good and friendly. The atmosphere was perfect for Italian food once you walk in the door and the food/ garlic bread was very authentic. When I am back in town it will be a stop for sure

The food quality and quantity was as expected. Service was friendly , very attentive prompt service. We did not have to wait long for our food. Decor was what you would expect for a non-chain Italian restaurant, clean , sharp, non distractive. It was a great place for us to meet that say with family.

We just eat here on Saturday! We got a steak and cheese sub and Taco pizza. It both was soo good! The sub was toasted just right and My husband loved the taco pizza crust . I think they may have a "different cook" but our food has never been disappointing .
