Good variety on the menu, lovely outside space. Good service.
What a lovely pub.
Great food. Bug tasty portions of very well cooked dishes. They taste very homemady but with nice presentation.
There are such an interesting and cosy interior.
Its beautifully located.
The only negative thing is the toilets ate outside and I during our visit they were not very clean.
Overall, good place for romantic or family dinner.
Sat in here now and it's fantastic! Beautiful old English pub, fire places, great selection of ales, larger, and cider. Plus the barmaid was brilliant! Made me feel at home instantly. Perfect place to visit after a walk around Blenheim, or just in general.
Although we'd not booked and there was a large group expected, the manager was extremely accommodating and gave us a perfect spot by an open fire. We're very grateful. The food was delicious! My partner had an excellent chicken and leek pie, with new potatoes and mixed vegetables. I had a fabulous pan-fried goat cheese salad. The establishment is a fine one - managed by someone with really high standards, and with friendly and efficient staff. Thanks, all!
Went on a random Thursday night and the food was wonderful. Fish and chips were the best I’ve had in years and the steak was excellent. Dessert options were also lovely. Great staff, sat in the beer garden in the sunshine. Would recommend.
We met family in Woodstock for a walk around the public footpaths inside Blenheim Palace, followed by lunch here.
The staff were very helpful with our dietry needs, the food was great and the beers were great.

Gastropub with one of the most beautiful views in Oxfordshire. The joy of being able to have a sumptuous meal and a good beer (Jubilee ale) in peace and serenity in this gorgeous view of the creek and greenery... Is incomparable.
Booking is a must if you would like to sit in as the place is usually fully booked.
Very good fish and chips (though I substituted onion rings, which initially looked burnt, but tasted just fine). Great place to grab lunch if returning to London from a morning trip to Blenheim Palace.
Amazing courgette and parmesan soup followed by roast beef dinner mmmmmm. The Prince beefburger and Mac 'n' cheese were enjoyed as well. Thank you
Brilliant place, good service, great garden dining. Best falafel I ever had included in the vegan morrocan platter.
