We attended the ring of bells on a Friday night after being recommended it by our hosts at The Old Ford Cottage. It was an excellent recommendation as the food atmosphere and service were great. We had one starter from the main menu, two specials and two desserts. Everything arrived in a timely Was cooked to perfection. I hardly recommend this pub and would definitely go back.
This is no slight on the venue as it’s in a tiny village, but you may struggle for parking so get there early or be prepared to hunt for a space 😅

What a brilliant pub! Loved the meals, great food. Good range of beer and cider including some local Wookey brews. Nice friendly staff too. Highly recommended, we look forward to returning!

Gorgeous Sunday roast. £13'ish with a super generous portion of meat. Roast pots definitely not like at home, but everything else was perfection. Loved the amount of veg we got in hot side dishes - absolutely stuffed us. Cauliflower cheese as a side for free too, gorgeous. Good selection of drinks and the staff were kind and helpful.

Great value for money, great atmosphere, cosy and warm and full of life. Food was incredible had the pork belly which was crispy and juicy, had enough veg on the plate too!

We just had an amazing roast dinner for £13.50! The portions are huge and the cauliflower cheese was a delicious bonus. The service was great and everyone was friendly. What a great find.

Trying to find somewhere for some good local food and was recommended to eat here. What a recommendation! A proper village pub atmosphere with a very warm welcome. Fair priced drinks but the food was out of this world!! The portion size was huge! and the taste was, well Gordon Ramsey would have been impressed! We shall be back again.

Brilliant pub. Warm and welcoming, and the staff were present and welcoming as well. The food was lovely. The portion sizes are big so you definitely won't go hungry. The price is really good for the amount of food and the quality. I liked that there were traditional pub food options available and some options that were not usually found on a pub menu.
Loved it and will visit again.

The chef does a wonderful job, his food tastes delicious and the portions are so generous. Couldn't fault any of the food we had, tasted amazing and the chef even asked us personally after his shift if we enjoyed his dishes. You can tell from his food that he is passionate about what he does and it truly pays off. If ever in or passing the area we will certainly go out of our way to visit again!
