Had evening meal here I had Lamb and Shepherd's pie which was fantastic. My wife had Sea Bass which was very nice. Excellent service nice atmosphere. Dogs are welcome. Area in fron of a fire if you just want a drink. Would have gone back Friday night, but its closed for the next few weeks. Didnt stay there so cant comment on rooms.

We ate here 3 yrs ago and decided it was the best roast we had ever had. Coming back was a risk...expectations were high and we were worried it might not live up to our expectations. However we have yet again been blown away by the Sunday roast. It is beyond delicious. Meat, roasties, Yorkshire pudding and 8(!), yes 8, different vegetables. The carrots are out of this world! The cauliflower cheese is exquisite. Can not recommendk this more highly.

Really good food at a reasonable price. One of not many actual restaurants in Woolacombe rather than "pub that does food". Being able to book also makes it a rarity in town which is really good. Service was good but not great - this is only reason for not giving 5 stars. Another tip - the specials board was quite big when we were there, nearly doubling the menu choices! Don't be too put off of if menu looks a bit small. Perhaps the restaurant should put a few example specials boards on their website to help advertise this?

Outstanding Quality and service. Best food in the area. You'll pay a little more & be grateful you did. Some rare and wonderfully prepared choices on the menu. Can't recommend highly enough... Our dog appreciated it too. Compared to the (I daren't mention the popular place down the road by name incase of litigation so let's call it)..... Errrmm, Scarlet Stable, it's around 10% more cost wise, 500% better food .... You'll enjoy it 1000% more.

Me and my partner visited here while on holiday nearby. Greeted by friendly staff and very dog friendly, they even have Blankets, bowls and jars of treats for your dog. The menu looked fantastic and reasonably priced, every other tables food looked incredible. We decided to treat ourselves and get the surf and Tturf sharing platter and wow, it may be expensive, but it is incredibly worth it. Every aspect of it was perfect. Will definitely be back!

We frequent Woolacombe every year or so, and ALWAYS come back here. The food is the best in town for the price, the variety of options and specials are brilliant. The service is fantastic and on our most recent trip we even got to taste an 'off the menu cocktail' which was great fun. I always look forward to coming back and truly it wouldn't be a trip to Woolacombe without coming here. I can't recommend enough.

Wonderful service, very accommodating to any requests. Dog friendly which was a big plus. The food was absolutely gorgeous I would recommend the muscles, sharing Camembert and the cheese cake (white chocolate and ginger) all beautifully made and delicious.
