The Farmers Arms - Woolsery - Photo album

The Farmers arms is well furnished with a lovely atmosphere. The food was first class, extremely tasty and rather exquisite. Toby the chef is only 25, from our understanding and has a bright future ahead of him with food at this standard and would give Rick Stein a run for his money. Our waiter jack
We had a lovely experience here as a family on holiday in North Devon. The food was just perfect - bistro-style, with a relaxed atmosphere. This place offers locally sourced, fresh, non-pretentious, hearty food cooked with real care. All the portion sizes are excellent, and the flavours are so delic
It was on our way to South Wales from Cornwall that we popped into this fantastic place. The staff were so friendly, and the service was impeccable. This place offers a great culinary journey. I especially enjoyed the vegetables and herbs from their garden. Every single bite was tasty.
A beautiful traditional Devon pub. The interior decor is fantastic, there is a good selection of beers/ales. The staff are on the ball and very attentive. The food is of a very good standard and this is reflected in the prices.
Fifth or sixth visit here now and it’s always incredible. The staff are friendly and relaxed but also hugely attentive. The manager knows what he’s doing and how to make people feel welcome. It’s a lovely pub just to have a drink and a chat too - have the homemade crisps and dip to go with it. On th
We had a weekend away planned to celebrate my father in law's 80th birthday. The pub was close and the reviews were good. We got there early, the waitress friendly drinks and food ordered in good time. I had the shepherd's pie and the Caramel dessert. The food was exceptional, I could not imagine i
Superb. Staff are exceptionally welcoming and friendly, the food is absolutely delicious and the building & decor is wonderful. What a wonderful place, we will be back!
A beautiful little gastro pub in the middle of a small village where a friend and I had rented a cottage for the week. Honestly, some of the offerings were above my level (I had to Google to determine what some things are), but opting for the full portion of fish and chips was a great choice! The
We came here but unfortunately they were fully booked for food although they tried extremely hard to fit us in! The staff are amazingly friendly and efficient! I witnessed the staff asking for a person's order while filling a dog bowl of water so the dog drank first! Absolutely would recommend! Just
Such a beautiful place to eat. This restaurant is for people who appreciate food and exciting culinary experiences. I had such a delicious meal here. As a veggie there was only one option but it was absolutely fantastic so no stars lost, but it is always great to have a couple of choices as a vegeta
I would thoroughly recommend this for quality food, superbly prepared and served with friendly efficiency! Not your normal pub prices but this is most definitely not your normal pub food. Excellent menu, excellent staff and the whole experience was excellent!
We really loved eating here this evening for my partner’s birthday. The staff were so accommodating and incredibly friendly. We had our pup with us and made us all feel really welcome. They got Inca a bowl of water without being asked to and even giving her some treats. The food was absolutely delic
Lovely place, lovely people, and truly one of the best meals I have ever had. Not cheap, but with this quality, that is to be expected.
We visited for Sunday Lunch and, Wow! What a meal, it was an absolute feast of 3 courses. The atmosphere is fantastic, the staff are really friendly and hospitable. The pub has a great feel to it, very spacious. My only tip would be to turn up hungry...you need the space!
First time visit on 06-10-2023. My daughter visited the previous week and highly recommended the restaurant. Food was superb. Mackerel, perfectly cooked. The desert was perfection. Thank you.
Fabulous! Not the cheapest, but we'll worth it. Great 50-day aged Sirloin. Very smart place, but relaxed. Worth the drive there. Also a great 1.2% IPA or drivers.
Popped in on the off chance after a morning at the Wake Park, we got there just before 2 and thankfully they agreed to us ordering. Amazing food, amazing wine (Clementine) very friendly attentive staff, lovely garden to sit in and beautiful inside. A great last minute decision. Everything we ordered
