We drove down tonight from Wimbledon in search for a nice pub restaurant. The Brook had very good reviews online and they certainly held up to them.
We were immediately seated when walked in, great warm atmosphere, and top service.
The menu looked really good so we ordered a starter, main and desert each. We shared the soup of the day and seared scallops to start (both delicious), then we had the seabass and chicken salad for our mains (again delicious) although starting to go into a food coma..but thought we just had to try desert because how good the first meals were. We ordered the selection of ice creams and warm apple pie with custard. Ah-mazing.
The waitress was very attentive yet relaxed and was super speedy at bringing drinks and food. Some of the best service we have ever had. The wait time was next to nothing and the food was incredible. The restaurant was very clean and had a nice vibe about it.
Went for a meet up with my girly friends. All of us enjoyed our meal. I had the steak and ale pie was yummy. Recommend it.
Nice gastro pub feel inside and an outside seating area with a playground but by a main road. Food was good for a pub and a good selection on the menu.
Not a bad burger to be fair was quiet when we visited Thursday evening nice place in the sunshine and small playpark for kids which is fenced off for safety so good for families. Also don't forget to put your registration number down in the bar on the tablet or you'll end up with a fine.

I've driven past this place for the past 3 years and for some reason I always wanted to visit. I didn't until my friend recommended me this place during Christmas times last year. They won me as a customer me with their soup. So delicious and homemade. It was pumpkin soup at the time. I keep coming back for their soup. I really like their onion soup and tomatoe soup as well. I've tried mostly their starters and I cannot fault it. You leave this place wanting to leave tips even if they added all their service charges because you just get so much for little. Thanks! I eat here weekly and although I'm not exactly adventurous with my food I can tell you that my burger and chips are always brilliant, hence the weekly visit. The staff are always happy and friendly and you rarely have to queue for a drink they are so efficient. I highly recommend it either for dinner and a pint or just a few drinks either way. Enjoy.
We visited to enjoy on last British pub food meal before emigrating and oh boy what a place to have picked. The food was unbelievably good, the service was great. Perfect place for a pub lunch with friends and family. We very nearly changed our minds about leaving. Luckily, we have friends locally so we will definitely be back.
The Brook is a really nice venue to enjoy an after work beer. Or a bite to eat with mates. Very family friendly and all the staff there are always very accomodating; Mia, Mariana, Alex and Madison, are lovely staff to have.
Was there for refreshments after a memorial service. Consequently, it was very crowded in the restaurant area and very noisy - I would guess it would be less so as a general rule. Food was excellent and interesting and service was polite, friendly and attentive.
Four of us went for dinner and we were all very happy with the food. Everything was cooked perfectly, and the service was excellent. There's not a lot more to say really only that we would definitely go back.
