Trigger Indian Restaurant

Popped in for a quick meal after a few pints but it was one of the best indian meals I have ever had. Mutton kottu parotha, lemon rice, daahl, a chicken curry and a really delicious aubergine and peanut curry. I have since been back and while the food was still great the waiters were disinterested and the food took ages to come!

Can't wait to bring more people here. Service with big smile and mouthwateringly good food. The chef's special grill Lamb Chops and the Masala Grilled Salmon were sizzling with rich and authentic Indian flavour but the real treat was the Sri Lankan Mutton Coconut Fry - never had anything like it - we ordered a second portion straight away! Looks like any other Indian restaurant from the outside but this place is really special. Am already making plans to go back this week and we only went yesterday. Till then just going to dream about that warm mutton coconut taste.

A real gem of a find, description says Indian but it's actually Sri-Lankan as well and the Lankan dishes are excellent. Particularly good was the mutton coconut fry - tender chunks of meat with a delicious coconutty flavour - honestly one of the best fried mutton dishes I've had for a long time having tried many of the Sri-Lankan restaurants in the area. The grilled options were also great, particularly the lamb chops and the salmon and the people who own the place are really friendly. If you're looking for South Asian food with a difference, give it a try, you won't be disappointed!
