Really lovely country pub. That good I've been 3 times in the last 4 weeks! Lovely atmosphere with wood burning stoves and friendly staff. Good choice on the menu and the food is great. It's definitely worth the drive out to it.

Fantastic food and service..what a lovely place. Been here again 14th Aug 2025 and same great service and food. I would definitely recommend this place. Great selection of beer and nice simple menu of home cooked quality food.
We stopped here as part of a last minute plan so we had not pre-booked. However, we did still get to enjoy drinks and hot sandwiches. The staff were friendly, the gardens beautiful and there were lots of little games and colouring pencils …
Stayed in the chicken shed 1 minute away. And popped to the pub afew times and the Sunday roast was excellent one of the best we've had, great staff great landlords definitely recommend...
