The Art House Cafe

Popped into the new art gallery in Redditch today, having passed it a few times already and am so glad I finally went in. Some really lovely artwork in there and quite a broad range too. There's a mixture of original paintings and limited edition prints as well. The staff there made me feel really welcome and were very friendly and informative about the different artists and their works that they sell, including some local artists too. I do like to support local businesses and, in this case, local artists. I bought a small, beautiful original by the local artist Lucy, who works at the gallery, so I could get the background on it straight from the artist. It was great being able to discuss the work with her and find out what was behind her creating this piece of work. That makes my purchase here feel so much more special and even better value for money than it already was. I highly recommend this gallery, I love it. The staff are great and the artworks and the gallery are as well. I will certainly be back for more in the future. Thank you Dermot and Lucy.
