Ken Chin's Restaurant

Our usual go to Chinese restaurant closed, so my husband and I decided to try this one! We're feeling mixed about it, and probably won't go back. On the one hand, the staff were incredibly friendly and nice, and personally, whatever batter they used on there chicken fingers is probably the best I've had in a long time. I have mixed feelings about the pork lo mein. The noodles were a bit dry, which isn't necessarily a bad thing, and I loved that the vegetables were crisp and seemed fresh (which I don't usually find in the other restaurants nearby!). The problem was there wasn't much in terms of pork! They had a few tiny cubes like you'd get mixed into a pork fried rice, and that was it. The general Gau's chicken was okay, except the portion was tiny! I've included a picture of what it looked like when we opened the box. It's all one size on terms of ordering, so I'm unsure why the box of lo mein was packed, and the general Gau's chicken was only a third of the way full. Overall, we wanted to like this place, but for the price (our old favorite used to provide rice with all of it's dishes and this one does not), it's too expensive for what you actually get. We will have to keep looking for a new go to restaurant!

All around meh. It was okay I guess, everything was edible and fresh enough, but none of it was very good. The cheese monnas are half sausage and extremely greasy. Next time I'll spend the same (large) amount of money elsewhere and get delivery. I'm still debating two stars instead of three because it was just so blah.

I've been going to Kens for 40 yrs, never had a bad meal there. 2 Generations have served me and ALWAYS have a kind word , funny story or something positive to say. I live in Northborough now, but STILL travel to Mill st in Worcester for my Chinese food. I will continue to do so because , to me , great food, great service and great people make it worth the trip. Try the cheese moanas.

Value was not there. You get 1 chicken wing, 6 small pork & cream cheese filled wantons with dark brown rice for $8.40. Chicken was over cooked. Drinks were made well. Met Amy the owner who ran the front desk as well as the bar. Keno is at the front desk so you have to get up and wait for her to come do the slip. Keno screen is behind instead of in front where you can see it. The place is well kept inside but outside needs a face lift to make it look more inviting. I can get much better everything at other places. Can't recommend this place to anyone.

Very disappointed to say the least. Protein dishes were mainly vegetables and the low mein was dry, the special fried rice was brown with maybe 1 ounce combined of chicken, shrimp and pork. Awful value for the price. The drinks tasted like gasoline. Seems as if the owners are cutting corners and thus hurting their business. Not returning which is sad since we live in this neighborhood.

Feeling very mixed about my experience at this resturaunt. The employees were a pleasure to interact with however i was very underwhelmed by the serving sizes that I recieved for the price of the pupu platter that I ordered. Additionally there was excess breading and very little chicken, as well as a surplus of ribs with little other food.
