The Steamhouse

Really enjoyed dining in, great atmosphere and friendly staff. The bagel was fresh and tasty, the nachos were good too, if a little bland for my liking, even with the additional sauce topping (around half a dozen jalapenos thrown in would've done the trick). Not the cheapest of lunch options around but you do get a satisfying, filling meal made up of a great combination of fresh and healthy ingredients - a rather unique establishment!

In need of sustenance for that long train journey? Across the road from the train station stands a bright star serving superb coffee and bagels. People pass by, looking inside in the grip of temptation. Do they try one of their delicious savoury bagel offerings or try a bake. Toasted or as it comes? The coffee set up looks stellar too. The comfortable, lounge-y interior makes it so easy to stay for a while. Remember to make sure you’re well fuelled for the train ride to Birmingham.

Really lovely little place - stopped for a late lunch and both enjoyed very generously filled bagels. The side of tortilla chips was a nice addition - one of us had nacho cheese as an extra topping which was very tasty and one of us had guacamole dip which was freshly made and delicious. We'll be back I'm sure :)
