Great place to stop for a bite to eat and a drink. There is a large seating area, both inside and out, including a rather unusual outdoor TV. There is plenty of parking space available on site. It is close to the motorway and if you are travelling between London and The North then it's worth a small detour for a drink and a rest.

Nice pub. Few of the menu items we wanted weren't available but the food we had was good. Slow to clear plates

The food was good and as expected from a chain pub. Chicken skewers were good. Chips were nice, but onion rings a little soggy but edible. Crown of burgers were tasty. On the dearer side for pints but that's the norm these days.
