We recently visited the Romans Rest pub and had a wonderful time at the Wacky Warehouse kids' play area. Lily, one of the staff members, made our visit extra special with her incredible customer service. She interacted with the children, engaged in friendly conversations with us, and even assisted with our orders when needed. The play area was clean, and we highly recommend Romans Rest for a great time with the kids. It's also a bonus that you can enjoy a few beers while watching your kids have a blast. Thank you, Lily, for making our visit memorable!

First visit. Fed up of service and food at other pubs in area. We had the 2 lunchtime deals for 12.95. we expected small portions but no, they were the same size as the normal price of 9.99. Couldn't believe it. We had hunters chicken which was served in sizzling platter along with fried onions, chips and garden peas. It was hot and tasted very good. Service was good and efficient. Going next week 👏

It's not very often you go for food and ask for a medium rare steak and it come as you asked for food was delicious service was fantastic overall top class experience
