We held our Golden Wedding party here. After consulting with the chef several times in advance, we had a really excellent dinner buffet cooked and displayed beautifully for us to help ourselves. The food was delicious and varied and reasonably priced. There was plenty of it! Throughout the afternoon the staff were helpful, courteous and pleasant. The nearby park proved to be an asset too as the children were able to go there and let off steam from time to time.

Good pub food and beer. Great service with staff providing the right amount of attention and even bringing more drinks to the table! A little limited on vegan choices, but that did not affect us.

Nice little gem slightly off track. Food was great. Farmers Blonde and Black Sheep pulled to perfection. Well worth a visit. Child and dog friendly.

Always a wonderful experience at the Shoulder of Mutton 😋 I went for the delicious penne arrabiata today, minus the garlic ciabatta, but added grilled chicken. Absolute feast!

It was the first pub I've been after lock down and it was great. There were not many people as one can expect. Real ales are served here and excellent home made food. A good choice of wines as well. One way system - yes, but it is Okay (and not always works). It is possible to sit inside even with dogs) or outside. Overall, a nice relaxing pub with great food.

Very welcoming pub serving a good variety of food. We had the fish & chips and Katsui curry - both were well presented & delicious. Followed by piping hot apple crumble & custard.
