First time in years since I’ve been here, did not disappoint. The food was superb. Proper chips, best I’ve had in a long time. The burger was unreal, full of flavour, couldn’t fault it. Will be back soon for sure.
Very pleasant lunchtime visit. Food was standard pub fayre, but very nice. I had Scampi with chips.....and really enjoyed them. My partner had Fish & chips and neither of us could find any fault at all. Reasonable pricing & everything was very clean & welcoming. Staff were friendly & helpful. Garden
We love The Shoulder of Mutton. Lovely cosy pub, friendly and helpful staff, fantastic food (including a full gluten free menu) and great selection of drinks. We always feel welcome and relaxed here, its a proper part of the community.
Food was great, there for a mothers day roast. All really enjoyed it. Was busy but staff still all attentive, food took a bit but understandable. Little extra at the end was really cute and appreciated. Good selection of bev too!
Highly recommend for the Sunday Roast! Well priced and large servings! They also include little extras like stuffing and a pig in blanket which is nice.
Went there last Christmas Eve and this Christmas Eve 2023. Atmosphere good, waiter - attentive but the food could be better. We order the set Christmas menu and the parsnip was rock hard on the vegetarian option. The Yorkshire pudding seemed pre done and the veg all came out a while after the mains

Went here for 60th birthday meal altho we had booked this beforehand when we arrived our tables were not ready to sit straight at. When they were put together it left 4 people sitting alone even tho it could have been arranged to all sir and be able to chat

Good pub food and beer. Great service with staff providing the right amount of attention and even bringing more drinks to the table! A little limited on vegan choices, but that did not affect us.

Very welcoming pub serving a good variety of food. We had the fish & chips and Katsui curry - both were well presented & delicious. Followed by piping hot apple crumble & custard.
