We visit here occasionally, for a pub meal. Sadly today, my meal was not up to standard, and I asked to return it. (It was a busy Sunday, and sometimes these things happen)
I have to give praise for the way this was handled. The customer service was EXCELLENT. I was offered an alternative meal FOC, which I politely declined. The refund was processed quickly, and without complaint. They even refunded our drinks, which we didn't ask for.
Will we visit again? Yes, definitely.

Nice location, nice staff, lots of little corners depending on your mood. They do tend to have the football on everywhere when it is on, but there are a few spots with 'shelter' :D

Nice pub to have a drink and relax in. We went in after we had visited a local pizza restaurant and it was very pleasant.

Stopped by on a spur of the moment idea for lunch.
Took advantage of the weekday 2 meals offer and we were not disappointed.
Excellent food, one of the best Steak & Ale pies I have had, also a very tasty lasagne.
Very good value for money.
Fantastic service, very pleasant staff and minimal waiting time for food.

We happened to go in for My Birthday & well the United Match was on, The Food was Brilliant even my little boy loved his food too, Over the moon with the place to be honest was brilliant the last time we came for my Dad's Birthday.

We came to watch the woman World Cup final, the whole pub was decorated in England flags , scarfs ect. They even put on a woman’s themed breakfast menu on ( lovely touch) breakfast barmcakes which were nice , hot and made to order.
Could not fault the efforts and service they provided to create a great atmosphere. Only down of the day was the result.

Had the Flamin' BBQ Platter!!!! WOW, amazing. Best meal we have had in years... So stuffed.

Small family gathering 8 pensioners. 2 meals for less than £12. What's wrong with that. Fabulous deal, great food. Gammon on a skillet with Egg,Chips, pea's . Terrific
