Superbly located for visiting attractions in Norfolk. Beaches, market towns, historic sites etc all in easy reach.
We stayed in the 2 bedroom self catering converted barn. Perfect. Spotlessly clean throughout, bed linen and towels so fresh. Shower rooms were like new.
Ate at the white lady pub on fish and chip night, great food. Very friendly place and landlord very welcoming and happy to help. Would definitely go back to stay. Highly recommend.
Popped in for Sunday lunch. Had a roast. Very good and quick service. Food was OK. The ambience was more roadside cafe than country pub. But it filled the gap.
Just had a fantastic weekend with my partner at the white lady, Dennis is a great host, the staff are superb everyone was welcoming and friendly the food was excellent and rooms clean and tidy would definitely recommend staying and we hope to return at some point.
Great pub food. Thoroughly enjoyed our meal here. Good quality, my wife had a massive piece of fresh cod with her fish and chips. I had sausage and mash with dried shallots and gravy. Beer was good too. Lovely quiet village at Worstead, I should imagine a stay at this pub hotel would be wonderful. Landlord was very welcoming and the waiter was very helpful.
Lovely local pub with some of the friendliest local owners! Surprisingly delicious food for a quiet village pub with a large selection for veggies and vegans. Dog friendly in the pub area but not the restaurant. Huge garden area out the back, too.
We are staying in Bengate and the White Lady is conveniently a short walk across the fields. We went for a drink the day we arrived and decided to go back for food. Friendly place. Lots of locals drinking there adding their colour. We had some nice food and beer. The black pudding with peppercorn sauce was probably the best black pudding dish we’ve ever had.

We're currently staying here next to the White Lady. Lush accomodations. Very clean and tidy with everything you need. Peaceful location. Beautiful church. Pub food is spectacular! Looking forward to another meal there before heading home. Would definitely recommend this place for anyone looking for a spot to explore the Norfolk coastal area from.
Lovely little village gastro pub. Traditional menu, but all very tasty items, and all very clearly cooked to order on site and able to accommodate dietary preferences. Great selection of drinks (incl. a good selection on tap), and very attentive and pleasant service whilst dining.
Wasn't too busy on the Saturday night we went, and we felt social distancing was maintained pretty well and we felt safe throughout. The pub was also dog friendly so we were able to take our pooch along too.
We'll definitely visit again if we're in the area.
Me and my partner went in for food last night, it was very quiet but it was lovely because of how peaceful it was. Food was amazing we both enjoyed it so much, got to say it was one of the best meals we’ve had out and we’ve been to many places. Would definitely recommend and will definitely come back again!
