Went for a Sunday roast and so glad we booked as each table was occupied or had been reserved. I had the roast beef and it was absolutely perfect, the meat cooked as it should, great variety of vegetables. The sticky toffee pudding after was a real treat. I would definitely recommend!

We have eaten at the Egremont many times but this was our first Sunday roast experience. It definitely didn’t disappoint. The presentation was excellent and every aspect of the food was superb. The vegetables were cooked to perfection. The beef was tender and melted in the mouth. The gravy was absolutely delicious too. I would highly recommend having your Sunday roast here.

We came for the Sunday roast which didn’t disappoint, it was good quality beef cooked perfectly for my taste. The accompanying Yorkshire and assorted vegetables were so tasty especially the roasted carrots. We had the extra cauliflower cheese which was delicious.
We all had deserts of chocolate brownies, sticky toffee pudding and Eton mess with custard and ice cream.
I will definitely be back and now want to try the fish and chips!

Really enjoyed the pub quiz here, lots of fun. The pub is lovely, very spacious and intimidating. Really lovely staff and although I didn't eat here, my friends did and said the food was lovely. I'll update once I've tried the food.

Honestly always have had a great experience in this pub and the complete opposite at the cow and oak. Egremont pub always so welcoming Michelle is amazing and a great staff member and always makes us feel welcoming she deserves the praise! Thank you to Michelle for giving us a great experience everytime we have come in! And honestly the food is AMAZING!
