Went for a Sunday roast and so glad we booked as each table was occupied or had been reserved. I had the roast beef and it was absolutely perfect, the meat cooked as it should, great variety of vegetables. The sticky toffee pudding after was a real treat. I would definitely recommend!

We came for the Sunday roast which didn’t disappoint, it was good quality beef cooked perfectly for my taste. The accompanying Yorkshire and assorted vegetables were so tasty especially the roasted carrots. We had the extra cauliflower cheese which was delicious.

Went here to see Simply Weller band it was an amazing night. Great band, excellent atmosphere great choice of drinks. Staff were amazing run of their feet but always got served without having to wait to long.. Most d will be going here again.

Went for a roast dinner with friends. Roast lamb was cooked very well, the meat came off the bone easily. Sides like cauliflower cheese and pigs in blanket were perfectly cooked too. Enjoyed live music afterwards

Honestly always have had a great experience in this pub and the complete opposite at the cow and oak. Really enjoyed the pub quiz here, lots of fun. The pub is lovely, very spacious and intimidating. Really lovely staff and although I didn't eat here, my friends did and said the food was lovely. I'll update once I've tried the food.

Went with mates for Saturday night out. Food was amazing. Ordered everything on menu and ate all of it!! Highly recommend fish burger. Great atmosphere and great staff. Live music was real good as well. Definitely go again. 😀
Recently took a friend for Sunday lunch and had the most wonderful time. The food was incredible, and both the ambiance and service was amazing. A special shout out to Amee who, just like the sticky toffee pudding, could not have been any sweeter!

Great vegan menu, with huge range of options. I loved the vegan 'fish' (banana blossom) & chips, which was absolutely delicious. The vegan Sunday roast is also outstanding
One of the better and more traditional Ploughman's lunches I've had. Getting good bread is becoming difficult. This place was better than most.
