Malt Cafe

Wow what can I say the brunch was so great I went back the following day . Some amazing tasty combinations and the Walnut and kale pesto is utterly beautiful . Great service and friendly staff team. Sadly I don’t live in the area but will return when visiting family. (I added a few extras to both dishes )

Our first visit here for breakfast & we were made to feel welcome from the off. Friendly staff, very attentive & speedy service. The food was lovely & fresh tasting, we had the pancakes & chorizo hash along with the mint tea. Full of flavour & generous portion sizes. An absolute gem of a place & we will definitely return if we're in the area again.

Great looking cafe with nice food, decent coffee and good staff. This new cafe is not quite in the heart of the town but it's well worth the effort to visit here. I thought the decor was excellent, atmosphere good and service excellent, really good music too. I really enjoyed the cappuccino I had which was deliciously smooth and the tea came in a massive cup which was equally good and amusing. As for the food, we both had the full English and I was impressed. The bacon was very tasty, the sausage was perfect and the sourdough toast was just right (I find sometimes it can be teeth breaking), the only minus was the eggs which were just a little bit over done. Sometimes new stylish cafes can forget the basics (Finch in particular have) however Malt is great and we'll be back again soon.
