Decent but somehow uninspiring. I've always liked this venue for live music, it's got great architecture and the arty vibe is good. However it just lacks something as a 'cafe' and I'm not drawn back for another visit. This said the food was nice, really good sausages, the service reasonable if not exactly great and the price for a breakfast is on a par with other good places (£8.95 for full English and drink). Worth a visit if like me you love trying new places but it's not going on my regulars list.

Breakfast is served most mornings and its always a great feast. Nice choice from the menu and includes freshly squeezed oranges. Occasional event like the Worthing portrait competition. There's a bar too and food can be purchased like cheese board etc

Great space, food and coffee here at St Paul’s.
I enjoyed a Welsh rarebit with some tasty additions on the plate (though I could have easily had two slices!) and a flat white (totalling just under £10 so not bad value-wise) - along with family members, including my daughter in her buggy and my aunt in a large electric wheelchair. Accessibility and sole space has to be one the main draw cards of this venue, most coffee shops and eateries in town would be too squished for our particular ensemble!
Service was great and friendly, my only negative (not that it negatively impacted my experience...) is that there seemed to be a fair amount of confusion about drink and foods when it came to serving. I’m not sure what system is in place, but there are no numbers on the tables, and that could possibly help to make things run a bit smoother, not so much for the patrons but the staff. Our drinks seemed to be muddled with another table (in fairness we ordered separately) but even once we all had our drinks and food on the table, we were asked a few minutes later if anybody had ordered a mocha - we hadn’t! I just feel for the lovely staff who must spend a while running around trying to find owners of drinks!
The space is beautiful and open and I think has a lot of unrealised potential, though I can’t judge that solely from my one visit today - maybe I didn’t look hard enough. There were a few art/photography pieces which I loved and it would be nice to see more.
A nice little touch I noticed was the availability of children’s cutlery. I don’t think I’ve seen that elsewhere and it’s one of those thoughtful little things that can make a big difference. While I didn’t need to use it today (my brain was functioning as I packed babas bag) as a mum I really appreciated seeing it and it’s a very sweet touch indeed.
Anyway, I will be back in the summer and look forward to visiting again.

Really great place with good coffee. Good Priam access and family friendly. The food is delicious and with its unique look well worth a pop in for a drink and bite to eat.
