The Happy Teapot

I could not thank the owner and staff enough. My friend booked a table 2pm for afternoon tea (delicious by the way). I emailed to explained I was holding a suprise baby shower for that friend. They couldn't do enough for us. Even shut the doors when our other friend (who was travelling from far away and arrived 15 mins before closure). They continued to let us enjoy the baby shower way past closing (Thank you again and I still so very sorry for the delay and mix up with closure times!!). Not a complaint or hurry felt from the staff and most importantly the mummy to be had a lovely time. We will return (booking an earlier table) and I just want to say THANK YOU for being so accommodating.

The Happy Teapot is one of Worthing's unsung heroes. The food is amazing, the service is incredible, and the prices are very fair. Since it's been taken over by the new owner the decor is much better, too! I love the window seats the most. I've been in there a number of times, and they've accommodated my coeliac disease so incredibly well by providing lots of gluten free options and going to great lengths to avoid cross contamination. I've never had an issue. Honestly, I love it in there and go whenever I can!

I love this place! Dog friendly, and quite disabled friendly - all on one level but it can be tight to manoeuvre towards the back. Delicious food, mostly sarnies, jackets, salads, cakes, Buddha bowls and they serve fantastic Afternoon teas. Super teas & coffees. Lovely warm friendly staff and super atmosphere. Can get takeaway. It is on a main road so parking is on road by library opposite or in nearby streets and car parks

Love it! Lovely little Tea room opposite Worthing’s library. Caters for everyone, sandwiches to jackets for lunch. To a full on Afternoon Tea. So many Cakes to choose from. No matter your dietary requirements I’m sure they will have something for you. Looks to have Gluten free, Diary free cakes - and has lots of Vegan options too. I’ve also had breakfast on serval occasions, which is also really good quantity for a very reasonable price! Coffee is amazing too.

I have visited The Happy Teapot on a few occasions and every time felt very well taken care of. It's a hidden gem and one of my favourite places to visit! The food is delicious, with a great selection of food to choose from. They cater for everyone's dietary needs too which is always brilliant. Each time I have visited I have been welcomed by a team of friendly, happy and helpful staff - they are always there to make sure everything is okay for you from start to finish. The prices are amazing. Great value for money and the portion sizes are great. The cafe is doggy friendly too meaning the fur friends can come and relax too. I love the cafe decor and always feel very comfortable throughout my visit. They catered for my hen do back in January which was a big group but we all felt very at home in The Happy Teapot. I recommend this place to anyone. Thank you! :) xx

Personally never been for afternoon tea myself and my partner being a vetaran of it so wanted to find out what all the fuss is about myself honestly this place is well worth a try food was amazing and staff where very attentive also my daughter's first afternoon tea and she was positively buzzing before during and after my only quarm would be that we wasnt informed that the ultimate afternoon tea was for one so had to pay extra for another drink
