Well where do I start!( why from the beginning I suppose 🤪!)
Yesterday (Saturday 14/10/23) I visited The Bull via work colleagues who said positive things about your establishment- and they weren’t wrong. Travelling from Chichester, I had a coffee and explored the garden before ordering wine(pictured) which was good value but the Chickpea Curry was spicy and just right even the fragrant rice was so good I asked the barman the recipe, simple enough but delicious.
Finally I would like to say that the latter as well as the nice Waitresses service was 1st rate as well as the ambience of the customers. I had a weekend that I will never forget and I do hope ( work pending) that I will return soon. Once again thank you for your hospitality.

Amazing place to eat and relax, Niall and Heidi have really turned this place around, and the Chef Harry is a credit to the kitchen! Thoroughly enjoyed my Wild Boar Sausage and Mash, it was divine! Will definitely be returning!

Had a lovely Sunday roast here at the weekend. Vastly improved by the new owners. We avoided this place before because the food & service was not good, which was annoying because it was our closest pub!

Great pub, lovely food and good atmosphere. The Bull has a massive garden that’s lovely to sit in during the day and under the heater in the evening. Food is always delicious, staff are friendly and accommodating, it’s become our new favorite local.

We had such a warm welcome for our birthday lunch. The food was delicious and the service was great and attentive.
The whole place was inviting and cosy. What a hidden gem!
I love that they are dog friendly too.

We stopped off for a bite to eat after a very soggy dog walk, last week. My friend choose a vegan 'burger' and I had scampi and chips. The food was absolutely delicious. Great service too. We found a quiet corner to sit with our three damp dogs and we were all made very welcome.

The Bull exceeded my expectations, the food was great, fresh, well presented and tasted wonderful. We went at lunchtime, wasn't overly busy, Service was attentive. The only downside was the coffee machine has broken so no coffee, I am sure that will be sorted by now. Yes, I liked this premise and will return.

Came for a drink here over the weekend and it was just wonderful. Beautiful Garden. Friendly and helpful staff. Clean all round. We will be back to try the food. Highly recommend this lovely pub!

Excellent pint of old speckled hen. Well kept cellar. Lovely quiet pub garden.
Following dinner, I'd like to add to the review. I am truly impressed with the service. There was a minor issue and the managers truly went above and beyond to make it right. This pub came under new ownership a few months ago and based on the passion and positive attitute of the new owners, i firmly believe this pub will do well. And the cellar remains in excellent condition!

What a difference a few weeks can make. Often visit the Bull as it is now “our local” but in past months felt it had lost its flair & buzz. We had a lovely lunch in the garden which had a lovely atmosphere. Food and drinks were delicious served by lovely staff including the new management. Recommend a visit. The menu is very enticing and I can’t wait to go back & try more of their menu. Keep up the good work 🥰
