Slug & Lettuce

I booked the slug and lettuce for a hen party, Justine is amazing, from booking it to on the day feeding 11 hungry ladies and running a really fun cocktail making masterclass- even if it was somewhat hard to get through with all the tunes that were playing! Amazing atmosphere and an evening we'll all be talking about for a long time! Would 100% recommend S+L Worthing to anyone; I wish we could do it all over again.

We visited on Saturday (7/10/23) We Ordered drinks and a children’s meal . The Children’s meal is great value for money, well presented and tasty! There’s something to please everyone! Zoe kindly requested that their chef substitute cucumbers for salad. This is because my daughter will eat cucumbers but not a whole salad. My daughter was delighted with the cucumber ribbons and ate them all! Zoe was friendly, helpful, knew how to deal with children and patient. The woman working behind the bar was and I am sorry but I don’t know her name (South African lady) was also friendly, efficient, chatty and helpful. She has all the hallmarks that a good bar maid should have. You have a brilliant team who largely make this venue what it is! They always put the customers first and make them feel welcome. Whereas a lot of similar venues in this area do not especially when it comes to children. The venue itself is big, clean, bright, well decorated, well maintained, well organised and always well stocked. I have never known this venue to run out of anything. We enjoy coming here.

Took the kids here for late afternoon tea and we all had a great time. Food was great value, freshly cooked and very tasty. Natasha served us promptly and with a big smile. She even brought the drinks to the table which is super helpful when you’ve got little people to be mindful of. The music was audible but not to loud and the pub was lovely and cool away from the heatwave outside. A great experience all round well done guys

Food was great (the childs meal for £5 is an insanely good deal, not pictured) and the service was excellent! We had lunch here with 2 two year olds and they sorted out high chairs for us, some crayons and little forks for them. Zoe really looked after us well. I'll be back soon (but hopefully without my nieces so I can try a cocktail!)
