An above average menu at (in most cases) average pub food prices.
Set in a warm, stylish old Shippon (as the name suggests), which has retained lots of original features (including the drinkers for the cows!), the Shippon delivers real quality.
The staff were friendly, knowledgeable and professional.
We had three courses for two people, a soft drink and a large wine for a smidge over £60 and thought that delivered excellent value given the standard of the food.
There’s a nice bar area for pre-dinner drinks. They also offer a wine tasting experience (pre book for groups of 2-4)

Had a truly wonderful afternoon at the Shippon . The afternoon tea was delicious, never had such light scones anywhere else.
Staff were attentive but not overbearing.
Would definitely recommend to people I know.

Real Ale from the brewery on site. The menu is fantastic and it's a great experience being in the renovated cow shed from 1902.
