I'm not a person who visits pubs regularly but this place came recommended so I wanted to give it a try. Unfortunately for me I chose a night where a football match was playing so my meal was surrounded by noise and sports. I felt it was a shame that people who had booked a meal weren't offered a more private area to enjoy their food, but the food itself was really nice. It was brought out without much wait time at all and was hot and me and my boyfriend enjoyed our meals. I would visit for food again, but I'll be more careful to avoid a football match day next time as the noise wasn't my cup of tea at all. But great service and no complaints about the food itself.

My sons and I really enjoyed the carvery on Saturday afternoon. Very friendly staff, a nice place to eat and the food was superb. Excellent value for money, with a good selection of meat and lots of veg to choose from. All food and drinks were lovely, and great value. Toilets are clean, and a large car park on premise with outside seating and play area for young kids. I look forward to coming back very soon with thr rest of the family. 10/10.

We came here for dinner and a play on Tuesday the 3rd. We were greeted by Sally at the door and shown straight to a table. Pub was lovely and clean and it was good to see Sally so busy at work making sure all the tables were clean and the pub was tidy. We all had carvery and the food was fantastic, we asked the chefs name and it was Ryan working that day. Generous portion sizes and everything was good and hot. Sally even brought us a chocolate brownie for our daughter since it was her birthday. Highly recommended to anyone wanted great food and fantastic service. Well done all. Will definitely be back.

Visited today for the festive menu and it certainly hit the spot 👌💯🍴 we were served by Sally who was super efficient, polite and friendly. Carvery food had plenty of choice and was hot and very tasty. 3 courses for £15.99 so a real bargain, quite a few drink offers as well . Definitely worth a visit but booking advised.

The 2 of us arrived early lunchtime on a Monday, the place was laid out clean & ready, Initially the place was quiet but other customers soon arrived. We checked the menu, excellent with a good choice of very reasonably priced meals, we opted for the carvery which was excellent value at £7.49 for the medium size. The plate was large, there was a choice of 3 meats, I opted for chicken & beef, Ireceived a generous amount of both, there was a good range of veg inc potatoes 3ways, you helped yourself, all were cooked well & fresh (loved the leeks in a creamy cheese sauce) with a Yorkshire thrown in it made for a tasty enjoyable lunch. Lovely helpful staff, definitely a few more visits to be made in the future.

Been a few time over the years but been more frequently recently, nice pub grub, cheap and cheerful! 😁 lovely carvery! Sally who works there has looked after us the last few times we've been and she is just fantastic! So helpful and always goes the extra mile with a smile! I take a girl I support for lunch and Sally will always give her wheelchair tray a wipe, It's small gestures like that that make a big difference 🙂

Food was delicious. Unfortunately we have been charged for 4 meals instead of 3. I pointed that out to the person who was serving us but he denied. Fortunately there was another team member who sorted this issue very quickly. Young man who was helping us was very polite and helpful. I can recommend this place
