Visited Corner House for the first time on 15.6.22. Really nice restaurant and the food was delicious! I had the Pan Fried Fillet of Sea Bass with King Prawns sautéed in Garlic, Chilli & Coriander Butter, New Potatoes and Seasonal Vegetables. He had Sauteed Chicken Strips with chorizo, red peppers & onions in a creamy smoked paprika sauce with basmati rice. 😋😋

Mixed feelings on the corner house. Part 1 - Restaurant wise: Been several times, and my experiences here have always been mediocre. I'd like to give it a 3, however most people I know seem to love this place, so 4 is the balance. I personally have found it good, but nothing amazing. Food is decent, reasonable value for money, feels a little run down in spots. Good car park, but no real views, small outdoor area.

We visited a few weeks ago for a flying bite and had a starter which was fantastic, our second visit was great food but not quite as good as the first. There's something about the decor that just doesn't suit the type of clientele that comes here and the music definitely doesn't suit, I don't think my Grandma would enjoy listening to Sisquo's Thong Song.

Great night at The Cornerhouse for Dads Birthday last Thursday, Indian theme night me & sis opted for -which was tasty. Most of the group opted for traditional menu (which has additional new options ) Lovely evening & fab service.

Formerly a Michelin starred restaurant some years ago called the Mulberry Tree. Now, with new owners and sporting a bar, with a great selection of real ales and good outside eating and drinking area.
The food was good with generous portions and a reasonable veggie and vegan selection. In keeping with the trend for a trimmed down, manageable but varied menu, it didn't disappoint...

Was late for my reservation but was still seated. The food arrived hot and promptly,
All was delicious except for the burger which was hard and dry but everything else including the desserts was delicious and reasonably priced along with the drinks, staff were also lovely and very helpful. Beautiful restaurant in a lovely setting and I would love to return, (maybe just dont order the burger)

Always greeted warmly by friendly staff. Food is high quality and I think reasonably priced. I don't mind paying a little more for good quality and decent portion sizes which I've always had here. Never had a bad meal or experience in the years I've been going to The Corner House. Can't rate it highly enough.

Fantastic lovely welcome. Very comfortably spaced out and Covid aware. Staff very pleasant and extremely helpful. We all enjoyed our lunchtime meals. Pizza was one of the best I’ve ever eaten. Top marks to the chef and staff!

I'd heard about this place but had never been before tonight. Mine and my wifes anniversary so decided to treat her and I'm glad I picked here. Made to feel welcome straight away which is good and sat down quickly. Staff were great all night very polite and all had smiles on there faces which is a good thing to see. The food was amazing right from starter through to dessert. The fillet was amazing cooked to perfection and may be the best I've ever had, scratch that it is the best ive ever had!! Definitely will be coming back here I couldn't fault it at all. Well done to all who work here for giving us such a great night.

Lovely food and place. We ate in the bar as the restaurant was full. Would've liked a sandwich for lunch though, but wasn't any on the menu. This makes it a bit expensive for lunchtime. Would go back for an evening meal.
