Booked a table for Halloween night. 6 adults, 4 children. Helen (the manager) came over to say greet us and gave the children Halloween bags. Food was lovely and cooked to perfection. Staff very friendly. We all had a lovely evening.

I am a regular at this pub but don’t often eat there. However last night 4 of us had brilliant meals - everyone had a different dish but they were all cooked perfectly and all arrived at the same time. Lovely and hot, generous portions, very tasty and very reasonably priced. I had the Chinese style pork which was as good a meal as I’ve had anywhere. Really delicious! Excellent service and lovely friendly staff. Don’t know why we bother going to expensive places when this is so good and on our doorstep.

The staff were pleasant and wanted to make sure everyone was taken care of however whoever does your stock take needs to see where they are not ordering enough. I work for a pub chain and never on a Saturday night have we ever ran out of beef burgers or a certain range of crisps etc.

Great meal - tastiest fish and chips I've had in years. Pub clean, friendly and nice age mix. Wheelchair friendly for my mom and speedy friendly service. Will be back again soon and no hesitation to recommend

We booked a table for a family of 6 + baby and was given a table that was suitable as could get pushchair by it without causing an obstruction. We ordered food and drinks we was impressed at how quickly they managed to ger the kids food out before ours which helped keep them calm and settled, then whilst we ate they went into the garden to run round and play. Great all rounder pub and restaurant cant wait to come back. Excellent staff

We had a birthday meal for my wife for 15 people. Service was really good. Joanna did a great job. The food arrived all at the same time and was hot and tasted great. Really great night thank you so much

Great service from Paige who waited our table. Very friendly. Food - salmon cooked to perfection. Previously salmon has come out rubbery and overcooked but this time it was perfect. We had lunch with my dad who was visiting, he loves coming to the packhorse for his yearly visit.

When arriving without booking we were shown a table for 2 no problems, ordered drinks and food and was served by polite members of staff, food took about 20-30mins to arrive which was amazing cooked to perfection. Will definitely be returning.
