We cycled from Strood to Teapot island. The Boathouse was open where had a well deserved pint (or three) Lovely pub with friendly staff, we didn’t eat but the menu did look good. We would definitely cycle there again for a Pint.

Having travelled 200 miles to attend an event nearby. That finished early. I had the opportunity to meet up with a mate who I had not seen for a few years. The Boathouse was the nearest for food and a catch-up. The food and service was better than expected for a pub that serves food Plenty of choice on the menu and freshly made. Plenty of seating both inside and out. And a good atmosphere. With plenty of spacing to have a reasonable conversation without having to raise your voice.

I thought it was all good, I had a home made pizza and was very pleased, but! the bitter selection was poor (Shepard Neeme what's going on?) lovely environment but it was quiet when we were there

Our family (with children aged 14 and 10) really enjoyed our meal here! Lovely food, great service, reasonably priced and great location by the water. If you want to book a table at short notice it’s best to phone, as their website only seems to show tables an hour ahead of the time you look.

Had the artichoke and sundried tomatoes with roasted pepper with pasta. I loved the flavours. I asked for extra pesto sauce and it made it much better! Really kind staff and helpful. I am disabled and I could sit next to the river. Disabled parking also.

We used paddle boards to get to this pub which was fun. We ordered at the bar from a large menu. It wasn't until 2 of us ordered that the third one was told there would be a 45 minute wait. Had we known this before hand we wouldn't have ordered. It was written on a sign which had a few people standing in front of it as we made our way to the bar to order. When the food arrived it was delicious and hot.

Good friendly service and food. Could probably do with one or two more veggie options on the menu but that's the only gripe. We enjoyed everything about this river side restaurant and bar and are looking forward to returning very soon.

Great location and very friendly and efficient service. Food was good. Plenty of seating inside and out a large part of which is covered by a canopy. Parking at the pub is quite limited but there is a large field just across the river. It only costs £3 a day and there is a foot bridge over the river to the pub.
