The Green Room

6 of us (5 adults and 1 child) went to the green rooms for dinner this evening. It had a very relaxed atmosphere and the food was great. The portion sizes were very filling and the menu was accommodating to those with dietary requirements. The children's menu was slightly more limited but when my daughter said she was hoping for pasta (not on the kids menu) they were really happy to accommodate this and made her very happy! The food came out quickly and the staff were great. We will definitely be coming back.

Had a lovely two night stay here for a family wedding. Great location as in centre of the town. Stayed in a twin room which consisted of a double and single bed (so can sleep 3) and an ensuite bathroom. Plenty of tea and coffee in the room and bottles of cold water in the fridge. There was a hairdryer in the room, and an iron and ironing board were available to use and found in the corridor outside our room. Breakfast was absolutely fabulous, I recommend the full English.. it was very fresh, great flavour, tasty thick bacon 😁, fresh tea and coffee, juices, cereal, fruit and croissants. Staff were helpful, polite and efficient.

Had a delicious vegetarian meal. A cassoulet followed by fresh fruit salad with sorbet. Having a fruit option was lovey. We were shown the downstairs area, with a brick vaulted (I believe that is the correct term) ceiling with stone pillars that fits 25 and can be hired. The manager was very approachable and accommodating. I will eat there again and tell others!

I have just had the most wonderful lunch with a wonderful friend. I have eaten here not often, but each time it's a real treat!! The service & food is exceptional The last meal I had here was with a different but equally wonderful Friend & I left my bag, containing my umbrella, hat & gloves with in a short time I received a phone call from Lincoln , lucky enough we were still in town & I could return to collect within a short time.
