As we entered we were welcomed with a smile and a very helpful waitress. We had the Sunday carvery and the head chef served us generous portions of perfectly cooked meat. Everything was superb and all the staff were polite and friendly. Excellent customer service and fantastic food. Highly recommend
Pen Mill is a great place to grab a drink and get some lovely food. It’s always busy here, which should be the first sign of how high quality it is.
They are dog fried I’ll which helps create an great atmosphere and way to interact with new people.

Visited for a lunch with elderly aunt. Staff were fantastic, cheerful, friendly and efficient.
Food was just right ✅️ I had a salad that was possibly 2 meals in one and still eating while husband and aunt were on dessert 🍨

Always busy with a good menu selection and good portion sizes. Wholesome grub rather than cordon bleu. Attentive staff and bar tenders.
My car broke down, as me and my friend was on the way to her birthday celebration. It was a difficult day. We ended up going into this magnificent venue. Awesome welcome. Food all day. None of this "we finish at 2 boloney". They sat us down, took a drinks order, and came straight back with the drink

We went in for a breakfast and when it came out I was little disappointed by the size . But looks can be deceiving it was excellent and filled us up . Will definitely go again

Great selection of beers. Fantastic food and great value. The carvery in particular is very tasty and great value.
Overall this is a great hotel with super friendly staff and a lovely breakfast. Our biggest problem was that it was very hot so we needed to have the window open. The road outside was busy all night which made sleeping difficult.
