The good news is I found the chef's old boots disguised as a rump steak. That was the toughest rump steak that I ever had. Apart from the steak not too bad. Might go back again as this was my first visit to the Arrow.

Once again, myself and the other half came to the arrow for a Sunday carvery.
The food was lovely and had a great selection of fresh vegetables and a 3 meat selection, all carved freshly in front of you .
The vegetables are seasonal and fresh .
The roast potatoes and all the trimmings are delightful.
Cauliflower cheese a must for myself .
I can't praise the carvery high enough .
2 price bands both very competive .
Lovely will visit again .
Book early to avoid disappointment.
My other half enjoying her food.

I took my volunteers from St.margarets hospice shop today for there Xmas meal I could not fault the price the service and the food.The table set up very nicely the ladies went out of there way to make sure everything was perfect.
Not only all of the above plus it has a real community feel to the pub and seem to go above qnd beyond 😀
I like to thank them again for such a lovely lunch 😋

The fish and chips the portion are very large and they are very tasty l had it and l brought half of the fish home with me for my dog tea which he loved as well 😁 would definitely go and eat there again 👍👍

We ordered 3 meals
- mac and cheese with vegan crispy strips
- Gluten Free Cauliflower and red pepper curry
- rump steak
When the food arrived, the gluten free dish came with a gluten item (the naan bread) and the steak came without the onion rings and mushrooms. Slightly disappointed as we waited a while (wouldnt have minded the wait if food was correct) but we made our concerns known.
The front of house staff were amazing - fixed the issues for us quickly and came over to check and explain the mix up.
Not sure if maybe the kitchen was a bit over run, which would have explained the issues, but would really like to thank the team at the front for being so accommodating!!

I arrived just after Noon for a 1pm booking so sat at a table within sight of the big screen to watch cricket, having ordered a pint. As I neared the time of my booking I mentioned to the friendly bar staff that I had arrived early, gave my name, and asked if I could order food and, if possible, sit where I was currently as opposed to the allocated table out-of-range of the screens. No problem I was told, and sure enough it wasn't. I ordered my lunch, had another couple of pints, and then headed off to see my team Southend United play against local Yeovil in the FA Cup. Very friendly staff, good quality and affordable meal, clean and friendly surroundings and a nice pint. I will return. Thanks.

My first visit before Yeovil v Southend, a big friendly home fans pub although away fans were welcomed, ordered 2 fish finger sarnies with fries which were very tasty, also a good range of beers available, will definitely visit again👍

The landlady was most welcoming we sat in a booth and my husband was happy because he could see sky sports as well enjoying his fish and chips l had rump steak done just the way l like came away from the Aorrow well fed and happy a very good pub and food thanks 👍

Very busy and noisy on a Tuesday evening, which meant a 40+ minute wait (informed after paying) for food because of it being Bingo night! But staff were very apologetic for the delay and the food was delicious 😋

I'd just like to say a massive thank you for our meal. I appreciate we had some late comers (London traffic) and you were stars at delaying meals for us.
A massive thank you to Jordan (I really hope I got the name right). He was so great at ensuring the evening went smoothly and so incredibly helpful and polite throughout. I know my partner's family are bubbly with lots of kids but, he and the other waiting staff were so patient and polite.
We would absolutely recommend you guys to anyone and have never been disappointed on our visits there.

The service was brilliant, the food was great and the atmosphere lovely.
I want to say a special thank you to the member of staff who helped screen my mum while she transferred from her wheelchair to a normal chair. Mum is very insecure about doing this in public, so it was nice that she didn’t have to worry.

Visit here 2 times now and it's really nice. Ample space to eat in or to have a little chill out on the sofa and get all snug. The staff are nice and attentive with there visitors. The bar is a nice size and it offers live entertainment such as 80s night which I attended and it was ace, good vibes. I also played games of pool which was good because finding bars with pool tables is hard to come across. Overall, I love the experience you get here. Definitely going to keep on visiting and you should as well.
