We happened to walk by and found a warm, welcoming atmosphere with great wine and a fantastic meat and cheese plate. We loved the truffle salami so much we had to order more.
My wife and I visited York for our wedding anniversary in July and decided to go for the food and wine pairing experience at Pairings (so glad we did).
I honestly cannot recommend the experience enough, it was absolutely incredible. Connor our Sommelier was amazing, we had a great time learning about the wine and food. It's one of the best experiences I've had and such good value for money.
We will definitely be visiting again in the future.

We had such a fantastic experience here on a long overdue girl date. We ordered the sharing board and requested some help picking our three cheeses and three meats. We then got to sample 5 different wines before choosing a delicious bottle of red. I was very impressed with the service and the knowledge of the staff. The food was absolutely delicious and plenty for the two of us. The wine was also wonderful and surprisingly affordable. Can't wait to come back again.
Wanted to continue my wine drinking day and stopped for a flight. Had the very good Orange flight with a Mackerel pot. Excellent service, good music, relaxed atmosphere. Accessible restrooms.
Absolutely fantastic- a must visit if in York. The service was brilliant, staff were really knowledgeable and even offered suggestions on other places to go in York.
Wine was beautiful, loved trying the flight. The food was also incredible and really complimented the wine.
We visited on 19/10/23 and had a really great time. The food was amazing and great value. They did not have one of the cheeses we ordered on our platter and our host (Connor) substituted this with a cheese he thought would be enjoyed, he was not wrong! He was a great host and couldn’t have been more helpful. He answered all our questions on both the menu and the wine. He recommended a nice wine to finish our great evening.
Please pass our thanks on to all the team on our visit as they were all great and worked non stop all the time we were there!

Great little find! I would highly recommend it if you feel like having a chill night. The platters complimented the wine. The suprise birthday brownie was a lovely touch.
The staff were friendly and it was a nice experience overall.
It loses the fifth star because it makes me feel uncomfortable to find my bill with the 10% added.
I use to tip voluntarily and I would have done so today, actually I wanted to round my £94 bill to £100, but then the waiter told me that the bill already had the tip within.
The food, the place, and the service are outstanding.

Beautiful little wine and nibbles bars. Lots of choice of different platters. I loved all the selections of wine flights. There was an amazing selection of different wines. Staff very knowledgeable and helpful. I would highly recommend.
Cracking wine bar, wish we would have booked so we had a better seat, also wished we would have stayed for food. The wine we did have was exceptional and the staff were great chat about the selection on offer. Look forward to returning.
