Excellent place! Fab range of craft ales and special choice of wines. Pastas, pizzas and salads clearly sourced from the best suppliers. So good the 1st night we booked another 2 days later. And such lovely staff.
Always lovely to dine at La Tazzina. Great atmosphere, they have super tasty food and a pizza oven which is a plus if you expect proper pizza.

The only thing, on one occasion we waited for 1 hour 45 to get our pasta soooo just bear in mind when it’s busy it ma at take a wee while. Apart from that this is a genuinely great place.
Our second visit to La Tazzina during visits to York. Again, we were not disappointed. Very friendly welcome to this small restaurant with a great atmosphere. Always seems busy, which says it all, so it is usually best to book before you go. There may be a wait for freshly cooked food, but it is well worth the wait. It is lovely to watch the pizzas being made and cooked in a pizza oven.
A delicious experience. 😋 We shall be back and would thoroughly recommend it to all.

Wonderful handmade pizza! Me and my partner were so surprised how delicious the pizza was and how fast the delivery was. The seafood spaghetti was fresh and well-cooked!

Visited York for the first time, and without doubt, this was our favourite (of a fair few!) bars and pubs we tried. Right on the corner at Micklegate.
The very lovely owners’ passion for this cafe/bar/tap-room/pizzeria is clear to see…incredibly friendly and knowledgeable and constantly smiling & singing! Just lovely to see! Wasn’t too crowded when we visited and the vibe was just perfect after a strenuous day walking the streets of the fabulous city. Perfect stop off for us after dinner, though the waft of fresh made pizza was tempting.
Could quite easily spend hours in this place & will definitely return. I urge you to spend some time here!

I have been wanting to go to Italy and taste authentic Italian food. However, I was blown away by this Italian restaurant in York. The carbonara pasta and margherita pizza are delizioso indeed! I will surely be back for more! ❤️
This place I can give it 10/10 stars I would! The food was amazing, the pasta and lasagna were on the “specials” recommendation, and it truly outstanding. The service was really good, the atmosphere great for a date night. Towards the end, our waitress made a delicious hot chocolate for me, we stayed until the place closed. I wish I had taken more photos!
We went as a family and had a fantastic meal. The pasta and lamb shank specials were delicious, as was the wine selection. Service was really attentive and the venue has a lovely atmosphere. I’m disabled and we were given a table on the ground floor which was perfect, thank you!
Superb pizza with just the right dough thickness and char to it. An unassuming Italian restaurant which you might just miss if you didn’t know any better. I think that might have been the best pizza I have ever tasted!
Popped in for a couple of drinks and cake for our youngest daughter on a Sunday afternoon. Incredibly friendly staff and super relaxed vibe. A great selection of tap beers (around 20 or so) Prices were reasonable.
Would definitely recommend and make a return visit.
