Bombay Spice is one of the best Indian Restaurants in York. This was our first time here and will not be our last. From the food to the service to the decor. It was a truly exceptional evening. Highly, highly recommended.
For starters we had Onion Bhaji and Chicken Chatt. For main we had Chicken Bal
Food was delicious, starter lovely, curry on par- very tasty; however, meat to both dishes was overcooked.
Service: cannot fault, attentive in all the right places. Gave enough time between courses and offered refreshments in-between. Even offered a night cap on the house.

Amazing!!!! Excellent service, they gave us a free drink each at the end. Food was amazing, it’s improved a lot and had a good makeover. The meat starter platter is 10/10.

Lovely experience - booked a table in advance and we had the place pretty much to ourselves which was nice. Service was spot on from the moment we got in. We walked in last minute on a Saturday night as a table of 9 after being let down by a different restaurant. Bombay spice were very accommodating and prepared a table for us. The food was lovely & the staff were attentive. Highly recommended.
We were a party of 6 for a sit down, & can honestly say this was certainly 1 of the best Indians we've had as a family, the food, service, atmosphere & pricing spot on !... Will definitely use again when back in York for a stay ❤
Absolutely fantastic hospitality and so so happy with the purely home made feel of the bengali dishes. Felt like having food at home. Thanks to both Ali brothers...Akbar and Hasan. The staff were good too.
