At first I was a little dubious about the concept of this but what an absolutely amazing place it is. We came here last night from Manchester and already want to go back. The food was fantastic and the meat succulent. In fact I've never had meat like it before. Miguel and all the other staff are lovely and friendly and went above and beyond to make sure we were fed and catered too. I would definitely recommend this eatery to anybody and would gladly travel all the way back, just to come here again. Thanks guys.

Don’t get me wrong, this place is a absolute banger!! It’s cute, lively and the food was good (most of them). The missing star is to advise that people who want to come here, really need to know how intense the meat 🥩 serving is, they comes to your table to serve meat every 10 minutes or so until you called stop. And some of the meats were way too salty, maybe it’s the day of cooking was off.
The overall experience was great though. Staff were nice and fun. Some of the cuts were to die for. And the place is clean. Would recommend for absolute meat eaters!

Here in York for a weekend and my parents came Friday night and it was so brilliant we booked up come as a family for Sunday lunch. The kids loved it (6&8) cause they could hold the bits of meat as they cut slices off. And the grilled pineapple was a huge hit. Such a great place. Don’t get confused with the other Brazilian on the same street. This one of family run and the food is delicious.
I was a bit sceptical but we had a fabulous meal. The meat was plentiful and great quality. The salad bar was so much more than that with loads of delicious hot and cold dishes. Great service too and good value. Our vegetarian was well catered for too.
Wonderful experience, fantastic service, and amazingly gluten free.
The salad bar did have a lot of gluten products close to the none gluten free options, except for the sauces, which were delicious, and the potatos. All the meats are gluten free, too. They even have a few gluten free desserts if you have space.
The decor is beautiful and spacious, lovely Cuban music keeping the place lovely, bright with big windows. Everything was clean and presentable
The food was medium to rare, which was delicious, beautifully seasoned and always a steady stream of things to try. The pineapple roasted with cinnamon sugar coated on top was amazing. Perfect with the gammon.
The servers were wonderful. There were technical issues going on but they never stopped being attentive, with lots of banter and good humour.
Will definitely go again, especially since it's right next to the Travelodge and the parking
The atmosphere was very pleasant, homely and welcoming. The food was absolute amazing- fresh, tasty, the best quality meat. The service was first class. Olivia was our very waitress, who was very friendly, smiley and helpful.

Visited here for the first time tonight for Samba Night. What a beautiful place. The staff make you feel like you’ve known them for years and nothing is too much trouble. We felt like we were being welcomed into their family and it was beautiful. The samba dancers were amazing and such fun. I came with family, including my 12 week old baby, and we were so looked after. He was mesmerised by the gentlemen in the kitchen and they kept pulling faces to make him laugh. The food was incredible and there’s a great selection. Give this place a visit, you won’t regret it!
Great place really friendly staff, food was awesome amazing choice on the side/salad bar and the meat is awesome and plentiful (had to pop the red card over a couple of times to catch up, only minor quibble was the bacon was very salty.
Amazing place! The staff was very friendly when we arrived, they were attentive while we ate without being overbearing.
The food was absolutely to die for, the steaks were very flavourful and the salad bar/sides were also delicious.
We would definitely want to go there again if we happen to go back to York.

Amazing service. Food was spot on! Can see why this restaurant is one of the top rated in York. Literally stuffed all night after visiting here but it was worth it! The salad bar (pictured with my review) had an extensive range of all sorts of sides. The meats were just amazing. Definitely recommend you to visit if you’re on a trip to York!
