It's my favourite place to visit in york. Staff go above and beyond to make you feel welcome. Great band on Saturday night in bear garden and beer and spirits to fit every taste.
A nice little tavern. Unfortunately no smoking or vaping allowed in the "outside" area which was slightly annoying, but rules are rules.

Nice little place to stop for a drink, especially if you’re a real ale drinker. I’m not, but the guy behind the bar sorted us right out with some nice Rum’s which we drank out the back in their beer garden, which is basically falls onto the Shambles Market.
