Absolutely decedent. Had the mussels starter and was blown away by the flavours in the sauce. Was followed by the steak special (Two steaks and a bottle of wine for £34) and was flabbergasted, everything was cooked to perfection. To top it all off 2 for £10 cocktails which not only were they refreshing but generously sized. A solid 10/10, I highly recommend to anyone, give this little hidden gem a shot and you will be amazed. - Easily one of the best restaurants in York, with extremely friendly staff.
We'd stumbled across this restaurant while trying to find somewhere special to eat for my birthday meal. Well this place did not disappoint. From the moment we were greeted by the host very hospitable. Food was amazing! and it was not a case of one in one out. I haven't enjoyed a relaxed meal and enjoyed amazing food in such a long time. When I visit York I will definitely be visiting here again. What a hidden gem 💎
Amazing experience, the food is incredible. We had the steak and side deal for £15. They gave my girlfriend a birthday card when we got to our table, as requested a table out the crowd they provided. They also brought out a free dessert saying happy birthday. The staff and venue was incredible, I highly recommend. Service charge is optional but at 10 percent and the service provided I wouldn’t remove it as they earned it.

Fantastic from start to finish, we were served with 2 glasses of Prosecco ‘on the house’ as it’s our anniversary. The service was fantastic as was our meal, we had the 3 course set menu highly recommended, with our puddings arrived a lovely touch of a chocolate brownie to share and best wishes from the staff for our anniversary, great place, great food, great atmosphere it never fails to impress. Thank you so much for making our day a special one.

Wonderful restaurant with amazing food. Went during restaurant week and got a 3 course meal for £20, or you could get a 2 course meal for £15. Service was excellent and the food is delicious. The portions were large and you'll definitely be full.

100% recommend! Food was beautiful (my garlic king prawn starter didn’t taste or garlic, however the tomato sauce they were in was lovely regardless) and service is great 👍

Absolutely fabulous place. So attractive and welcoming when you go in, and the staff and service is first class. The ambience is beautiful, and you feel as if you're in a very classy place, somewhere that makes you feel special and where you would pay so much more for somewhere else. Incredible value for money, and the food, including presentation, is first class. We would definitely go back and would recommend it to anyone.
Not only did we leave the 10% discretionary tip on the bill, we added some to it. Such a lovely place!
