WOW! That’s all I can say, me and my wife shared the Special toastie which was Chicken, peppered pastrami, 3 cheese blend, rocket and garlic and chilli oil! It has to be the best toastie we’ve EVER HAD! When we next come to York we will certainly be back!
Such warm, welcoming customers service was given followed by the most amazing bakes! We asked for them warm, and they didn't disappoint! They also serve non dairy milk, which was fantastic. Wonderful place, part of Shambles Good Court/market area. Excellent people and excellent latte. Didn't have any food, but the toasties looked amazing. Note: popular ones sell out fast!
Coffee tastes great and great presentation , portion a bit on the smaller size for the cost but I understand as it’s in the city centre the need to complete cost wise. Looking forward to trying the rest of the menu
We visited dark horse espresso bar today and what a hidden gem this really is! We had the best toastie we have ever had, so glad we shared as the toasties are massive and they are certainly not shy on the fillings. Absolutely amazing service and food. Would 100% recommend!
Excellent cappacino and tea, friendly staff, very reaaonably price, will go back to try the mulled wine in the winter.
