Tonight, on a very rainy evening, 3 wet adults and a not very happy 2 year old visited this super restaurant for an early dinner. Within minutes of arriving we were feeling much happier as was the little one. Nobody minded they just carried on looking after us with super efficiency. The service and the food were both perfect, thank you so much for making our evening memorable for all the right reasons.

Great little restaurant in York. Service was fantastic and the food was served hot and it was delicious. The king prawns starter was the highlight for me, just brilliant; fresh, plump and juicy king prawns served with a lightly toasted slice of fresh bread. I would definitely revisit.

An absolutely incredible night out! The waiters heard that it was my dad’s 50th and a cake was brought and we hadn’t even asked for it!!!! We had amazing service and the atmosphere was remarkable!! It will be a night that I will remember for my entire life and there is no restaurant that can beat this one! Thanks for an amazing night🥳👌

We took my son here for his 10th birthday as he wanted a grown up day out. He has additional needs and they were very accommodating. Staff was very polite and made time to talk to my children. Theres a good selection of food and it was excellent as always, it's not cheap food but you are paying for quality and to say its in the centre of York the price isn't too bad. 100% will return on our next visit to York.

Proper Italian. Great service. Really nice food. I had insalata salmone tonight. Wonderful, if a bit on the salty side. Had the asparagus appetiser a few days ago for a late light supper. Also fantastic.

Most recent of many visits to this restaurant in York. When visiting York we often make our way back here. Food is always freshly cooked to order, and is always excellent. We have never had a bad meal here. As ever service matched the food. Staff are always polite and efficient. Would highly recommend.

After evensong in the Minster, where better or more handy than Caesars for an early-ish supper and this place did not disappoint. Warmly welcomed and sat at a table (hadn't booked) drink brought and order placed which was delivered in just a few minutes.
Had starter which was very tasty and a salmon pasta dish which was also great. The cost was reasonable too. I could have paid a lot more down the road for a meal that might not have tasted as good.
Definitely would like to return if staying in this part of York again.

A lovely 'find' for us, we visited for a mum and daughters lunch.
The staff were so friendly and helpful, food and drinks were spot on.
Would highly recommend, this will definitely be our go to Italian restaurant whenever we visit York.

We did a walk-in for ×7, 4 adults, 3 kids bang on 5pm. No Problem, pulled 4 tables together sat us down and served. Very authentic Pizzas. The ones for the kids were perfect size. My Chicken Milanse was great. Excellent service even ad the restaurant filled and they had to turn people away. Well worth a visit. Next time we will book a table.

First time visit to Caesars. I’m a big fan of the other classic York Italian restaurants - Little Italy, Delrios and Il Parasiso - and this one was recommended to me as being on a par.
Great recommendation - really excellent overall experience.
Booked online, which was easy. Restaurant is very central, near the Minster, with a good layout inside. Warm welcome and buzzy atmosphere inside.
Menu is large, with classics and specials. Beautiful garlic mushrooms to start, calzone for main. Calzone has a bolognaise topping. You like to see it. Tasty. Pasta dishes looked really good.
Range of desserts - tried the cannoli, which is made in house. Lovely and crisp, faultless.
The beer was Moretti. As it should be.
Definitely worth a visit if you like excellent, well-cooked Italian food. Will be back in future.

The room temperature was comfortable. All drinks nice,food quality excellent . Service was fast helpfull and friendly.We were so impressed with the quality of the food as to even taste and share each others.My conclusion is that if we were staying over in York anytime in the future we would certainly go out of our way to return to Caesars Italian Restaurant!

10 out of 10 for atmosphere, service and real authentic Italian food-Going here is an absolute must! Recommend the calamari, mozzarella starter and lasagna-Even the wine & cocktails were superb! Great way to end our holiday 🫶 ❤️ 👌 🇮🇹

Please, please, go here if you can. The food is divine. It comes to the table hot. The prices are excellent. Portions are not small. So make sure you've built up an appetite. You will not regret it. Wonderful.
We hadn't booked but the manager managed to get us in. All good. In fact, I couldn't eat all mine.

We could smell this amazing food down the street while looking for a place for a quick dinner. This place was fantastic, the food was so delicious and the staff were very friendly. They especially were really good with our 11 month old who was fairly tired and grumpy who had an amazing time in the restaurant. Highly recommend going.

Nice little Italian restaurant, food is great and the atmosphere is friendly.
Only down side for me was the almost forced 10% tip, which is already added on to the bill and the waitress asks if you would like it taken off, which would be a bit embarrassing! The staff deserved a tip, but it should be at my disgression.
