Have been a big lover of Bill’s since I first went to one in 2014, sadly the quality of food has slightly gone down since then but on this occasion I really enjoyed my food. I had the ‘nduja & burrata meatballs…they were delicious and I also had a Rosè spritz which was refreshing and not too bitter. The other diners I was with had mixed reviews…chicken burger a little dry and the beef burger not as good as previous times. I cannot fault the service though and I also like the option of splitting the bill when you scan the QR code. Overall, 4* as I enjoyed my food and it was a nice lunch 😊

What a fabulous restaurant to visit. Fabulous decor throughout, polite professional staff and last but not least, their food is fantastic.. It's the full package. So the tree of us had starters. I had calamari, the others had tuna carpaccio with tacos. We had a side of flat garlic bread and side salads. Crispy, dry calamari that was still tender inside. The tuna was fabulous too, gently seared on the outside as you'd expect. We had cocktails that were nicely made without tonnes of ice. Now the main meals were spot on. Tasty, moist and full of flavour. I had truffle chicken 2 ways with chips, the others had the same with mash. It was amazing food. The price was good for three of us with 2 cocktails each and a bottle of wine. Service charge is added with 3 options which is fair as the service was excellent throughout our meal. Highly recommend this restaurant and we will certainly visit again. Many thanks.

Very nice for some food whilst shopping. The restaurant was very busy but we luckily got a seat quickly. The food was lovely and well made. As it is cashless in there now we had to pay via an app or on card which could be annoying for some. We got our food but noone came back to check if everything was OK or if we wanted more drinks which we did.

Great place, lovely decor which gives a lovely feel and nice atmosphere to the place. The food was excellent, I've only given it a 4 as their pancakes weren't as fluffy and a bit stodgy. Other than that, it was lovely. The staff are absolutely fantastic, a warm welcome and nothing but politeness and so attentive. Definitely go back again.

Absolutely loved this restaurant. I have a wheat intolerance so have to be gluten free, I was well looked after by the serving staff. They have a great gluten free menu and the food is delicious. We were down in York on holiday, and loved the Bill’s burger so much we went back twice. The icing on the cake was bring able to have gluten free cheesecake. Thanks Bill’s you made my week.

What ever they are paying The staff here it’s not enough absolutely amazing service. So patient, understanding, professional, competent, everything the staff in a restaurant should be which is so difficult to find. The food was very tasty. We came for dinner one night and breakfast the next morning everything was fantastic.

The food was delicious. The atmosphere was beautiful. The company was fantastic I'd very much like to go back. Pricing for food is a little on the high side. The Chicken Swahama (?) at almost £15, I personally think, for the price was a little small. £10 would have been more of a price I'd expected.

Last time we came to York, we couldn’t get a seat here because of how packed it was. This time we booked the night before and when we got there, we could see why it is so popular. The food is delicious, there’s a lovely atmosphere and the staff are friendly. Highly recommend Bills big brunch and the fruit pancake stack!

Lovely meal, great atmosphere, friendly and attentive staff, food really tasty, seafood linguine was amazing, right amount of seafood including mussels, prawns & squid in a creamy tomato sauce with pasta. Meatballs were tasty with spicy sausage in a tomato/cheesy sauce. Also the banoffee pie sundae was delicious and creamy. Quiet for a Saturday, earlier evening so no booking needed.

Had a lovely burger here. The quality of the food is top notch and we got a free kids meal with the main. All in it was £13 for burger and kids chicken and chips. More than reasonable for the quality of the food. Only criticism is the chips are rather oily. But you get that everywhere. The restaurant is nicely furnished. Highly recommended
