Excellent flat white (better than spring espresso across the street). Friendly staff, good seats out the front for people watching and a small terrace out the back. Decent prices for lager for being on a pedestrianised street and having their own craft beer.
Popped in on way to train station for some brunch. Great place that serves nice coffee and the best Brie and Bacon toastie!

Very nice and cosy in the little back yard. Unusual arrangement with hot savoury food,it came from across the road but was delicious. Staff very warm & friendly.

Love it here, the atmosphere is relaxing, coffee and beer all day. They serve a great selection of drinks including their own York-made beer, Ice Cream Factory, which is really good. Their espresso martini is fantastic and a real treat!
So good we came back the next day for brunch. Great selection of drinks (try the Yorkshire Fog!) and food. Relaxed atmosphere with cosy corners and friendly staff. Centrally locate, but just far enough away from the really busy streets.

We visited this place twice on our visit to York. Once for coffee, once for G&Ts. Exceptional coffee (we’re Australian so we should know 😉), really interesting and tasty gins and great service. Coupled with a lovely cozy atmosphere, this place is definitely worth a visit
Great vibes for coffee or cocktails. Lovely cakes too. The staff are always lovely and the outside space is a really nice way to while away an afternoon or evening in York with friends or meet up for a date.
Apparently there is a measure that is in between a half and a pint why is this a thing it's not real how do you order a beer

Trendy cafe/coffee social/pub. Good food at a reasonable price. Interesting art by Jonny Rotten on the walls. Live music and open mic upstairs one a week. Loved our few hours here. Check this place out.
