oh! the breakfast. it was honestly so delicious. wonderful, flexible service that let us order breakfast even though we were after the cut off, and then let me swap some elements of my meal. this, AND the eggs were amazing, the sausages ... the chutney. the chutney. it's glorious. extra bonus points for an actually good coffee, and bonus bonus points for a cosy decor and a great, mellow playlist. 10/10 would recommend.
Popped into this beautiful bistro this evening and was welcomed by a lovely waitress. She sat us down with a superb bottle of wine and tasty bread and dip plate. Then the food came and I must say it is one of the best meals I have had in a long time!
The dessert was just as good.
I would highly recommend this gem to anyone visiting York!
Extremely friendly staff who went the extra mile to serve us the perfect Sunday lunch. Meats cooked to perfection and delicious Yorkshire puddings. Nice atmosphere and good selection on the menu.

Lovely tasty pizza. Good service. Welcomed use with wet dog and offered water bowl. Try it. Much Better than the high street chains.
Amazing little place close to York Minster! The backyard area is very nice, the food is good and the prices are inexpensive. Highly recommended!
The hostess is the kindest person ever! The food was good, not overly flavorful but nice. Its the cutest place to grab a bit to eat and affordable.
Amazing pizza, amazing local ale, friendly staff, brilliant place!
Guy is very friendly and serves excellent beers and pizzas at very friendly prices. We like to go along on a Friday evening to begin our weekend unwind in a the outside bar. You can eat and drink in the garden with views of the minster and city walls or enjoy the ambiance of the covered bar area near the pizza oven. If the weather is less friendly you can always go inside to enjoy your pizza and beer.
There's nowhere else quite like this lovely little restaurant in York.
Amazing place. Better than you would expect for location just a bit outside town centre. Great pizza. Stone baked in front of you. 5/5. Good price and tasty cakes. One of best brownies I tried.
Popped in to take cover from the rain with my son and discovered a sweet and humble place. Would 100% recommend this place, the pizzas were fantastic and service delightful. Proves how big chains arent always the best. X
Amazing food, wonderful staff - Catered for all of our needs! My boyfriend needed some vegan cheese and I have to eat Gluten free.. It was literally THE BEST Gluten free pizza I've ever had! Suck it pizza express! The Bistro Guy, is soft and delicious, it could pass as a standard pizza 😁
The desserts are glorious! Homemade meringues with cream and fresh fruit 👌👌 B-e-a-utiful! Family run restaurant, with heated outdoor seating, where you can watch the pizzas being made! 👍😎
