One of the loveliest pubs in York, visit every time we're there without fail.
We've had lunch and evening meal a couple times and it's always been amazing food.
Service is incredible, lovely staff and really clean.

Another proper pub in York that I have visited a few times although food can dominate. On a triangular space where street entertainers like to strut their stuff in front of mobs of tourists. Has two floors ( who knew says Jorvic!) I am sure lots of people leave because downstairs is full. Paulicarus

Superb experience a few weekends ago. We took our children and dog for Sunday roast. The atmosphere was exactly what you’d want for Sunday lunch, the food superb and despite it being so busy, the young waiter was faultless in his care and attention. I would give it 10* if I could!
