I hosted a celebratory meal here for 7 of us and the Carluccio's team and new manager were very helpful.
They seated us in our requested spot upstairs, let us decorate the table beforehand, and food and drink service was quick and friendly - our waitress (young, blonde and wearing glasses - sorry I
Set in a lovely building. The food is standard Italian. Nothing too surprising. Service when we went in was warm and efficient. Food was tasty.
Lovely old place for a coffee. Friendly quick service. A latte was 2.95. Free wifi
I have always had a wonderful experience at Carluccio's. Real Italian food and incredible service.

Food is delicious and has a truely italian flare. Service was nice with very pleasant staff that are freindly and knowledgable. Have been on several occasions and will definitely be back again!

We had great three course meal with drinks for £50-60 with a discount voucher. The food was lovely but two of our choices needed changing due to their popularity. This is understandable but not ideal for Saturday at 8pm. There was a bit of confusion with the mains coming out a bit early, however we
I visited this place twice last week. On the same day. The first time was just for tea and a cake. The service was impeccable. The server made excellent personal recommendations on places to go, and the food was delicious.

Great place to enjoy a quality lunch time meal. A relaxed atmosphere in an interesting, architectural & historic building in the centre of York. Lovely, attentive & friendly service made our tasty meal that much more enjoyable. The fixed cost 2 course menu plus a glass of wine was well worth it.
We arrived as a group of 10 for coffee when they were very busy. Staff friendly and helpful. They let us sit in the closed section upstairs, took our order when we were ready and we received our drinks promptly. Staff checked on us a few times and made us feel welcome and relaxed. Good experience
Great ambiance and design finish right in the middle of York. We had the minestrone and liver pate to start that were both really tasty, followed by steaks which were cooked to perfection. Our waiter was a chatty, very attentive Geordie who even swapped my glass of wine that had a fly in. Super serv
Great service and food. Stairs to main restaurant but there is a stair lift for wheelchairs. One of the staff helped me with the pram. Baby changing facilities in disabled toilet. Lovely decor (previously Terry's chocolate tearooms?). Would come again
Beautiful restaurant, fabulous food and a service with a smile. Cant really ask for much more. Portion sizes are quite small but it only meant that I was able to fit in 3 courses where as quite often I only manage the 2. Will definitely be back soon to try the new menu which starts today.

A busy weekend in York, but we booked a table ahead. We were quickly and efficiently seated and my requested Aperol spritzer drink was very good. Service was impeccable, our food tasty and delicious. An excellent evening out in York, will visit again if in the area.
Good place to have breakfast, like we did. The staff are very friendly, attentive and ensure you are having an overall great experience. The venue itself is very sophisticated and well cleaned. Highly recommended.
P.s. My baseball cap enjoyed it so much that it decided to stay there!
