I spent a pleasant evening in this place. The level and professional treatment of the waiters is noticeable. The plating was beautiful, although the truffle macaroni was tasteless. But overall, great and the dessert...out of this world.

Food was niceish but expected better given the “brand” and price. We had Sunday lunch : good Yorkshires and veg, but pretty bland meat and stale-tasting roast potatoes. Beef looked like it might be better than the pork.
Overall, this place is resting on its name and needs to up its game.

Finally a sunny day to enjoy a drink on the River. Sat on the patio had a glass of wine and mackerel, mack had an odd jelly on the top assuming it is a preserved preparation. Nice server, view. Inside seating classic restaurant vibe.
Super tasty food. Cooked to perfection. Presented beautifully. Team were knowledgeable and at attentive without feeling like they were over your shoulder. We were served Justyna who I couldn’t fault. She really took care of us.
Sunday lunch on the river is simply outstanding. The views or the river are exceptional and so is the service of the wait staff. A truly memorable and relaxing lunch experience. Best Yorkshire pudding I have had to date.

Lovely relaxed restaurant with great good and service. Had four courses and everything was sized just right to enjoy it without being overly full. Certainly not the cheapest restaurant but the quality was fantastic, and value off the scale. I will absolutely be back.
Went for a drink with my dad as the weather was nice and could enjoy views of the river. Service was excellent. Beers are a little pricey, but the cocktails are well priced and delicious. I had a wonderful Chilli Margarita!

Fabulous food and exceptional service! We needed gluten and dairy free options and the staff were very accommodating of this. Lovely warm atmosphere too.
Very nice pub and restaurant situated right beside the River Ouse. To get in you actually have to walk through the ancient York Bar Walls. The outside seating, overlooking the river, is a great location. The table service is a little slow and it can be frustrating. I'd prefer to be able to go to the

Great food with a beautiful view of the water! The smoked salmon special and ham with burrata and pickled melon were both delicious. The device was fantastic as well.
