Excellent meal, decent price! Friendly staff. There was a temporary issue with the draught so I can’t comment on the beers. Ladies toilets were also closed so the men’s were being used as unisex temporarily, meaning no urinals. Recommend though as food was decent. Oh, and it is NOT a Wetherspoons!!

The pies are delicious! Very good food. Great location in the center of York with a beautiful building. I had a fun time with friends!

What a lovely pub nestled in the York city centre. Lovely friendly staff which really made the visit! Great selection of drinks and coffee was top notch. The Mac n' cheese was brilliant and topped with BBQ pulled pork, a touch of genius. Pop in, rest a while. You'll not regret it. Felt like a pro

Multiple rooms to this old Inn, good selection of beers and menu was really good to, only had a light lunch but this was tasty. Air conditioning on which was nice and quick and speedy service from pleasant bar staff. No complaints would recommend
