I visited this lovely pub when it was still Thomas’s of York and have never forgotten it. The atmosphere, decor, and food all made an excellent experience. Great fish and chips and dessert. When I return to York, I’ll come back and visit again.

We stopped in for a gin before heading to the station. Some reviewers call the decor quirky. I would have to agree. Overall, no issues. Friendly staff.

Lovely little pub called in for some food and a few drinks during our trip to york. Wanted beef burgers but they didn't have any left which was disappointing but went for a chicken burger and it was lovely. Cocktails are delicious although slightly over priced overall would visit here again and the decor was lovely

We called in as we saw the reviews online were good so we chose to eat here. The pub itself is amazing, great layout lovely decoration. Food was so so they didn't have any beef burgers which was pretty disappointing, as I had to change what I wanted. Had a great array of cocktails really delicious however a bit on the pricey side. We called back around 10 or so in the evening they had karaoke on great atmosphere. Lovely people. If I travel back to York will come here again.

We had a really lovely meal in a side-room of this bar. The food was delicious and the portions were generous. The cocktails were delicious and very Instagram-able. Loved the selection of long Island ice tea inspired cocktails served in conical flasks, as well as a large selection of sweet, ice Lolly and toy - inspired cocktails. Really worth a visit if you're looking for somewhere to eat or drink in York!

This is a great pub, fantastic decor and a very pleasant and friendly staff. The food is absolutely lovely and the portions are huge, one meal would have been enough for the two of us. I need think there was a little too much mint in the mushy peas but the rest was very nice and very filling.

Pub with extensive cocktail list. It even has a list of the most "instagram-worthy" cocktails. I tried the "taste the rainbow" cocktail. The drink itself was just ok, very watered down. The special toppings were nice. I liked the decor.
