Bella Italia - York Clifton Moor

I went here for a birthday party and let me just this out loud- IT WAS AMAZING!!! (I haven't been here for a while so do still have Team Pizza and burger?) I would recommend coming here any day if u can and the seats are SO COMFY!! Anyway it is just amazing and I love it! Keep up the hard work! (please respond if u see this!) :)

All the staff were wearing Football Shirts in aid of the Bobby Moor Fund for Cancer Research. They all looked happy and always work as a team so having the various shirts fitted in really well. Well done 'Team Bella Italia, Clifton Moor'. It is always a pleasure coming to see you and its like having a meal with a family. The food was as good as usual and always look forward to it. I hope you raised lots of money for the charity.

Lovely meal out. Couple of us ate from set menu, really good price. Food was hot and tasty. Dessert was less good as our gelato order seemed to contain every flavour they had just run out of. By the time the orders were changed, the warm brownie was stone cold and kess exciting. Other than that it was lovely.

Received a warm welcome. Great range of choices on menu. Like the fact calories are displayed; helped me to make informed choices. Service was fast and efficient. Connie was particularly friendly and attentive. The food was outstanding and fairly priced. A wonderful compliment to the cinema on our mini date night.

Lovely staff and great food - what more do you want from a restaurant! We went for a meal on Saturday lunchtime with my 3 year old. The staff were great with my little one, and they also took allergies very seriously too (my husband is a coeliac) with lots of fantastic choices for him! We shared a gluten free pasta dish that was yummy, and a chicken Caesar salad (they substituted the croutons for a gluten free alternative that was a really lovely touch as we're used to just missing bits out of a meal!) I would certainly return and recommend!

The whole team were amazing. So attentive friendly and helpful. Everyone in our party including the kids commented afterwards on how lovely the staff were and that we haven't had such great service in a long time. My 7 year old said that Sara who served us was 'so kind and had such a big smile' Food was great and really good value for money. Gluten free was no problem and felt really safe eating here.

Easy parking as it's situated on Clifton Moor retail park close to other eateries. We were greeted by friendly and helpful staff who showed us to a clean table and gave us menus. It was fairly quiet with the lunch rush over I presume as it was 1.30pm. our orders were taken promptly and the waitress took time to tell us about our choices which was helpful. Food arrived hot and well presented. Everything was tasty it just lacked flavour and didn't look appealing. Otherwise all was good and having shared a tiramisu we had a very good coffee. Worth a visit again.

We had such a lovely meal! Lovely greeting at the door and our server Alice showed us to our table. She checked for allergies and explained a couple of things on the menu for us. Prompt and lovely service and good food. Really recommend this place we had such a pleasant lunch. The restaurant was clean and tidy. Can’t wait to return. Thanks Alice for 5* customer service.

It's been a long time since I've visited any Bella Italia after having some not great experiences at both this restaurant and another in York. But this visit was spot on. Friendly welcome and helpful staff. Food was great. Opted for the set menu, and the festive pizza (which I have to say was "interesting" with the cranberry sauce and camembert topping, but nice still). Family had the standard Calzone and Bolognese. For a Sunday lunchtime it was quiet, thankfully , which maybe helped with the whole experience. Happy with the visit thank you 👍👍👍👍.
